Badredine Bouanani joins Rangers on loan

The 21-year-old moves to the Scottish Premiership on a season-long loan.

Badredine Bouanani will spend the rest of the campaign at Rangers after VfB agreed a loan deal with the Glasgow club for the 21-year-old, who is under contract at Stuttgart until 30 June 2030. The winger, who moved to VfB from OGC Nice in summer 2025, made 28 appearances in all competitions in the white and red shirt last season, in which the left-footer contributed two goals and two assists.

Fabian Wohlgemuth, VfB board member for sport, said: “Badredine showed his great potential as a young player in 28 games last season. It’s important for his continued development that he gets regular game time at a high level. Rangers offer a very good setting for that. We wish Badredine a successful season in Scotland.”

VfB wishes Badredine Bouanani the best of luck for the 2026/2027 season.
