Tayfun Korkut: "For the fans it was a spectacle of a game, which really had everything. Just having the extra man, doesn’t automatically make you the better team, as that creates pressure. There were a lot of difficult phases in the game – but the way the team dealt with them speaks for itself. My compliments on how the lads bounced back from conceding such a goal and also how we played going forward. That was very important and requires courage – and that courage we showed was rewarded. In the end, all that counts is that we got the win. That was very important and we can look ahead now."
Ron-Robert Zieler: "That was a victory of determination here today. I am very satisfied with the three points – that’s all that really counts here. Not everything worked out for us today, up front or at the back, but we showed the right attitude. Something like the 1-1 naturally shouldn’t happen, but that’s how it is."
Gonzalo Castro: "The 1-1 was a shocker of a goal to concede for all of us, which makes it all the more important that we showed a reaction. We started very well today, but allowed things to get away from us somewhat in the first-half. Even after the break it continued to swing back and forth – we were shaky right to the final second."
Anastasios Donis: "I always try to help the team and today I am particularly happy, because I scored a goal which was very important for us."
