A sneak peek of the new Bundesliga fixture list has been unveiled – and it’s a very special one: VfB will be part of the opening match of the 64th Bundesliga season. On the evening of Friday 28 August 2026, the boys from Cannstatt will face Bayern Munich in the 2026/27 season curtain-raiser (kick-off 20:30 CEST).
The full fixture list will be released by the German Football League (DFL) on Thursday 2 July 2026.
