The first performance diagnostic tests were carried out early on Saturday morning, with goalkeepers Fabian Bredlow and Florian Müller leading the way. The players were pushed to their limits on the treadmill before having blood samples taken. “We’re glad to be back,” said Waldemar Anton. “We’ve all had enough of a break and now we can get down to work again.”
