Nikolas Nartey was not involved in the Nations League match between his country Denmark and Wales on Sunday evening, which the Danes won 1-0. The 26-year-old picked up a muscular problem and has therefore returned to Stuttgart from international duty early.
Nartey departs having made one appearance for Denmark during the current international window. He came on as an 80th-minute substitute in the 4-2 defeat to Portugal on Thursday 1 October, collecting his second senior cap for his country.
