Just two minutes later, Grischa Prömel doubled the lead with a deflected shot from the edge of the box. Undav’s second in the 37th minute left Sebastian Hoeneß’s side 3-0 up at half-time.
Fürth put up more of a fight in the second half but late goals from Tim van der Leij and Jamie Leweling ended the Clover Leaves’ hopes and completed a 5-0 friendly win for VfB.

Reaction:
Head coach Sebastian Hoeneß: “Overall, I’m very pleased with our performance. We were very proactive and played with plenty of freedom. The lads took the game seriously, just as they did in the friendly against Heidenheim. That led to a good performance and the right result.”
