I’d also like to congratulate my team, though, as they showed fight and held their nerve. We had four spot-kicks where a miss would have sent us out. Despite the fact that we made it through, I still can’t be satisfied with the way we got there.”
Alexander Nübel: “I’m pleased that we got through and I’m delighted with the ‘Man of the Match’ award, although Medo could easily have gone home with it after his two-and-a-half goals. I did what I had to do in the shoot-out. Now we’re focusing on Saturday and want to get our first Bundesliga win against Gladbach.”
