Impressive VfB claim three points in Wolfsburg

Chances for Chema and Chabot

VfB were particularly dangerous down both wings, sending several crosses into the Wolfsburg penalty area. From one of these from Angelo Stiller, Chema’s header was clawed off the line by Grabara. Just 60 seconds later, Chabot headed just wide of the target.

Undav’s comeback

Deniz Undav made his comeback from injury as a 69^th-minute substitute for Nikolas Nartey and saw Stiller make it 3-0 on 80 minutes from Bilal El Khannouss’ assist. In the end it was a fully deserved away victory for Hoeneß’s side after a strong performance.

35^th minute: From a short corner, Stiller crosses perfectly into the box for the unmarked Tomas, who glances it in from close range against his former club.

55^th minute: Tomas cleverly cuts it back to Stiller from the byline. His shot is blocked well by Vinicius Souza but ball ricochets to Mittelstädt, who instinctively volleys it in to make it 2-0.

80^th minute: El Khannouss plays the ball perfectly into the feet of Stiller, who finds the right corner with a low drive from inside the penalty area.
