Head coach Sebastian Hoeneß: “We delivered a really good performance. We succeeded in applying pressure from the start and also defended resolutely and cleanly for the most part. The funny thing is, we won 4-0 and yet there’s the thought that we could’ve scored another couple of goals. That sums up what a convincing display it was.”
Angelo Stiller: “It was important that we took the lead with more or less our first chance. We could’ve scored more goals with the number of chances we had, but we’re pleased with four goals. We were very lively, it was fun out there. We’re third in the table with five matches left – and want to continue on this run.”
Maximilian Mittelstädt: “It was a very good performance from us. We were very focused from the start and our game plan came off. We were compact in defence as well and won possession time and again. If we can make one criticism, it’s just that we didn’t score even more goals. My dad said this morning I should have a go and shoot for a change – and it worked, so it was great advice from him.”
