I talk to him before every training session and at the start of every match, and tell him ‘today’s the day!’ And tonight, it finally was. That’s such a good feeling. Mainz fought right to the end, even when they went 2-0 down, but we didn’t let up for a moment. We showed today that we can also battle it out with teams. We have good spirit and we can play – and when you combine those two elements, you make life tough for your opponents. I’m pleased that we took our chances, and at the end of the day, we deserved our three points.”
