Philip Heise leaves VfB

The winger makes an immediate move to league opponents SG Dynamo Dresden. The details of the transfer of the 25-year-old, who has been at VfB since the summer of 2015, remain undisclosed. In one and a half years with the Cannstatt Boys, Heise has made five Bundesliga appearances, one in the '2. Bundesliga' and was involved in two DFB-Cup games in the shirt with the infamous red hoop. In addition, the midfielder made five appearances for the VfB reserves in the ‘3. Liga’.

Sporting Director Jan Schindelmeiser: "It was the express wish of Philip Heise to head in a new direction, in the hope of getting more match practice by making a move. So far as the details of the transfer are concerned, we found a good solution with Dynamo Dresden. We would like to thank Philip for his efforts and we wish him all the very best for his future."
