The German Football Association (DFB) has scheduled the last-16 ties in the DFB Cup. VfB Stuttgart will welcome Bundesliga 2 side Dynamo Dresden to the MHP Arena on Tuesday 1 December for a 18:00 CET kick-off.
Fabian Wohlgemuth, VfB’s board member for sport, gave his reaction to the draw: “We’re very pleased to have a home match in the round of 16. At the same time, we’ll be treating the assignment against Dynamo Dresden very seriously, because the cup competition has shown enough times before that league status only plays a minor role.”
