Three Saturday games, plus Friday and Sunday clashes

The German Football League (DFL) has scheduled the first five matchdays of the new Bundesliga season. VfB begin their campaign away to 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday 23 August.

The dates and kick-off times of the first five matchdays of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season have been confirmed. VfB Stuttgart begin their campaign with an away game against 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday 23 August, kicking off at the traditional time of 15:30 CEST.

After hosting Borussia Mönchengladbach in their first home game on Saturday 30 August, the Cannstatt lads travel to SC Freiburg on 13 September (both 15:30 CEST kick-offs). VfB then take on FC St. Pauli in their second home match on Friday 19 September, getting under way at 20:30 CEST, before a trip to 1. FC Köln in their first Sunday game of the new season on 28 September (17:30 CEST).
