Ten days on from the draw for the first round of the DFB Cup, the dates and kick-off times of the ties have now been confirmed. VfB will begin their cup campaign away to Bundesliga 2 side Eintracht Braunschweig on Tuesday 26 August, kicking off at 20:45 CEST. As with last season, Sebastian Hoeneß’s men are playing their first-round match at a later date because of the Supercup clash against FC Bayern Munich on 15 August.
