Comfortable win over Toulouse

VfB enjoyed a successful end to their training camp with a 6-0 victory against Ligue 1 club Toulouse FC.

Match summary:

Around 2,000 fans braved the rainy weather at the ATS-Sportpark and witnessed a dominant start from VfB, who established a 2-0 lead over Toulouse before the break.

VfB continue to impress in second half

The second period was more closely fought, but Sebastian Hoeneß’s men continued to have the better of the play and extended their lead to 3-0, while the French side only threatened occasionally on the counter.

More goals in ‘extra time’

In order to give all the players as much playing time as possible, the two clubs had agreed to a third period of 30 minutes. Toulouse were more in the game during this stage, but it was VfB who scored the goals and in the end came away with a fully deserved 6-0 win after a good performance.
