Juan José Perea has completed a permanent switch from VfB to FC Zürich in Switzerland. He already spent the 2024/25 season on loan at the Swiss Super League side, registering seven goals and two assists in 28 games in all competitions. The striker was originally under contract in Stuttgart until 30 June 2026.

Perea joined VfB in summer 2022 from Greek top-flight club PAS Giannina and made a total of 19 appearances in his first season in white and red – 16 in the Bundesliga and three in the DFB Cup – scoring once. The Colombian spent the following season on loan at then Bundesliga 2 outfit Hansa Rostock, before moving to FC Zürich for the 2024/25 campaign, where he will now stay.
