Following a busy run of fixtures, the Cannstatt boys got to enjoy two days off at the start of this week before returning to training at the club centre on Wednesday.
Good memories of Köln
This Saturday, 14 February at 18:30 CET, VfB welcome 1. FC Köln to the MHP Arena. There’s one player who looks back with particular fondness on the reverse fixture. “I obviously have good memories of the game last September – we won 2-1 and I managed to score the winning goal,” said Josha Vagnoman, who is eyeing a similar outcome this time. “We’re going to give everything so that we also succeed in beating Köln at home.”
The right-back has featured in 19 of 21 Bundesliga matches this season, registering one goal and four assists. “We’re coming into the period now when every point really counts for every team, so we need to be even hungrier,” added the 25-year-old. Hopefully VfB will have three more on the board after Saturday evening.
