VfB drawn away to Holstein Kiel in last eight

The DFB Cup quarter-final draw on Sunday evening handed VfB Stuttgart a trip to northern Germany for a match against Holstein Kiel.

Fabian Wohlgemuth, VfB board member for sport, said: “Holstein Kiel have produced some surprising results in the DFB Cup in the past, so we know we’re facing a big challenge at the Holstein-Stadion. At the same time, our aim is of course to reach the semi-finals. Aside from the match itself, I’m looking forward to returning to my former workplace and seeing lots of familiar faces again.”

The quarter-finals will be played on 3/4 and 10/11 February 2026. Exact dates and kick-off times will be confirmed in the coming days. The semi-finals will take place on 21/22 April 2026, and the final will be held at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on 23 May 2026.
