After the polls were opened approximately two weeks ago, the 2025/26 Team of the Season has now been confirmed, following the annual vote carried out by the Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) and EA Sports.
VfB’s Angelo Stiller made it into the final 11 for the first time, having also been shortlisted last season alongside team-mates Maximilian Mittelstädt and Nick Woltemade.
The 25-year-old’s inclusion marks the first time in two years that a VfB player has made the final cut, following on from Waldemar Anton and Serhou Guirassy. Stiller has made 31 Bundesliga appearances so far this term and has contributed two goals and six assists.
