Sebastian Hoeneß: “We deserved to win by that scoreline. After we went behind early on, we showed a lot of character. The feeling in the dressing room after a 5-1 win is obviously very positive and this win will do us the world of good. Congratulations to the lads. We’ve now got another two matches between now and the end of the year and want to finish things on a positive note.”
Angelo Stiller: “This is a really good win for us. We started poorly but then got a hold of the game and at the end of the day, we were well worth what was a comfortable victory. Scoring my first Champions League goal was a special moment – as was the win today.”
Fabian Rieder: “Other than the opening 10 minutes, we played a really good match. We didn’t lose our heads after we conceded an early goal and could easily have been ahead by the break. In the second half, we were all over them and didn’t let them get into any kind of rhythm. I’ve still got friends and family in Berne, so it was a very special match for me.”
