Wahid Faghir will be spending the rest of this season with FC Nordsjaelland, after VfB and the Danish club agreed terms on a year-long loan. The 19-year-old Danish U-21 international joined VfB in summer 2021 and has made six Bundesliga appearances for the club, scoring one goal in the process.
“Playing time is very important for Wahid’s continued development and he’ll get that opportunity with FC Nordsjaelland – a club with ambition that plays in a demanding league,” said sporting director Sven Mislintat. “We’ll be keeping a close eye on Wahid’s progress over the coming months and hope that he and FC Nordsjaelland enjoy a successful season.“
