Sunday afternoon opener against RB Leipzig

The DFL announced the kick-off times for Matchday 1 to 7 on Friday. VfB begin the season at home to RB Leipzig on Sunday 7 August at 15:30 CEST.

The Deutsche Fußball Liga has scheduled the first seven matchdays of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season. In total, Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side play on Saturday five times and on Sunday twice – all at 15:30. They kick off the campaign against RB Leipzig at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on Sunday 7 August.
