Pascal Stenzel sidelined

VfB defender Pascal Stenzel was forced off after just 24 minutes of Sunday evening’s away match at Hertha BSC. The full-back had to leave the field after suffering an injury in an attempted challenge, with scans on Monday revealing that the 26-year-old had sustained a minor abdominal muscle tear in his pelvic region. VfB are expected to be without Stenzel for the rest of the campaign.
