After going out on loan to St. Gallen in January, Matej Maglica has had his deal turned into a permanent one, with the Swiss Super League club exercising the purchase option in the 1.96-metre defender’s loan clause. The 23-year-old will now get to stay with the club where he made 16 appearances in the second half of last season, scoring one goal in the process.
Maglica played 40 times for VfB’s U21 team in Germany’s south-west regional league, and also made one Bundesliga appearance for the first team. The club would like to take this opportunity to wish him all the best for the future.
