Statement by VfB Stuttgart on the published Super League plans

“Like the DFL and the leagues and associations concerned, VfB rejects concepts for a European Super League. The national leagues are the foundation of European professional football and, in our view, should be strengthened rather than further weakened. Those who believe that they can go without the acceptance of European football fans in the search of opportunities for global growth are on the wrong track. We are therefore glad that no German clubs are involved in the plans.”
