David Kopacz has left VfB and joined newly-promoted second-division side FC Würzburger Kickers. The 21-year-old forward had been in Stuttgart since summer 2018 and played 17 matches for the Under-21s, scoring two goals. He spent last season on loan at Polish top-flight outfit Gornik Zabrze.
VfB sporting director Sven Mislintat: “David used his time on loan at Gornik Zabrze last season to put himself in the shop window. Making the move to Würzburger Kickers in the second division is reward for the very positive developments that he has shown. We would like to wish David all the very best for the future.”
