Karazor has made 21 league appearances for the Kiel outfit this season, registering two goals and two assists. The Essen-born midfielder, who has also featured twice in the DFB Cup this term, played for the VfL Bochum and Borussia Dortmund youth teams before joining Holstein in 2017.
Board member Thomas Hitzlsperger:
“Atakan has played very well for Holstein Kiel this season. We’ve been scouting him for a long time and are convinced of his qualities and his potential. We expect him to continue his positive development with us and assume an important role in our team.”
“I thank the VfB board for the trust they have placed in me. I want to repay that faith as quickly as possible with good performances in a VfB shirt. I wish my future team all the best for the upcoming relegation play-off games and am looking forward to getting to know my new team-mates. These years at Holstein Kiel were very important for my development and I thank the board, my team-mates and the fans for the wonderful time we had together.”
