The season is already over for a quartet of Hertha players due to injury. Head coach Pal Dardai must make do without his son Palko (ankle), Vladimir Darida (knee), Arne Maier (ligaments) and Niklas Stark (ankle) in the team's final three games of the campaign. Hertha are also without Lukas Klünter, who is suspended after receiving two yellow cards against Eintracht Frankfurt last week.

Hertha are currently on a seven-game winless streak. After losing five on the spin, their last two matches, against Hannover and Frankfurt, both ended as goalless draws. No other team currently in the Bundesliga has gone as long without winning, while Hertha have never endured a longer stretch without victory in the last four years under Dardai.
