It’s only one month until the start of the new Bundesliga 2 season and on Friday, the German Football League (DFL) published the fixture list for the 2019/20 campaign. VfB host Hannover in the Matchday 1 curtain-raiser on the evening of Friday 26 July. One week later, Tim Walter’s men travel to 1. FC Heidenheim, while the eagerly anticipated local derby against promoted side Karlsruher has been scheduled for Matchday 14 (22-25 November) at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Full details of the exact dates and times for the first two Matchdays will follow next week, with the schedule for Matchdays 3 to 8 coming the week after.
