The VfB fans can look forward to a number of special events, as the club celebrates its 125th birthday during the course of the 2018/2019 season. One of those highlights is the 'Tag des Brustrings' (Day of the Red Stripe) on August 5th, 2018. On the first Sunday in August, there will be a great deal on offer in and around the ‘VfB Clubzentrum’. The action gets underway at 11:00 CET, with the family festival on the hill in front of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. There will be an abundance to do and see for young and old, with the professional team also integrated into the activities. During the afternoon, there will then be two very special games played in the Mercedes-Benz Arena. At 15:15 CEST, the “Game of Legends” gets underway, before Tayfun Korkut’s men take on top Spanish outfit Atlético de Madrid (kick-off 16:45 CEST).
