Danish Under 21 international Jacob Bruun Larsen makes an immediate loan move from Borussia Dortmund to VfB until the end of the current season. The 19-year-old attacking winger learned his trade in the BVB youth teams and made his first Bundesliga appearance for Borussia Dortmund during the current campaign. At VfB, Jacob Bruun Larsen will wear the number 34 jersey with the infamous red hoop.
Michael Reschke, Sporing Director at VfB Stuttgart:
"We had been in talks with Borussia Dortmund for quite some time concerning a loan signing of Jacob Bruun Larsen. Jacob is fast, a danger in front of goal and we are convinced he has all the qualities and the mentality required to prove an immediate option for our attacking game. We’d like to thank those responsible at BVB for agreeing to the loan transfer and we are delighted to welcome Jacob into the VfB ranks."
Jacob Bruun Larsen:
"I have heard a lot of very positive things about VfB, which is why I am so happy to be a part of this team and I am very much looking forward to joining my new team mates on the training grounds as from tomorrow."
