DFB-Cup draw on Friday

On Friday evening, VfB’s first competitive opponent of the 2018/2019 campaign will be decided, with the draw for the first round of the DFB-Cup being made. 

The draw for the first round of the coming season’s DFB-Cup campaign will be made on Friday evening following Germany’s World Cup dress rehearsal against Saudi Arabia (kick-off 19:30 CEST).

As a seeded team for the first-round proper, VfB will definitely begin their domestic cup action away from home. The first round of games will be played out the weekend before the Bundesliga gets underway, between August 17^th and 20^th.
