VfB and SpVgg Greuther Fürth have agreed terms on the permanent transfer of Julian Green, after the US international spent last season on loan at the second division club from the Franken region. For the ‘Kleeblätter‘, the 23-year-old made 23 appearances in the '2. Bundesliga', scoring three goals and providing one assist.
Julian Green made the move from FC Bayern to VfB in December 2016 and made ten competitive appearances in the shirt with the infamous red hoop (one goal).
VfB Sporting director Michael Reschke: "The loan move of Julian to Fürth definitely made sense for all involved and it is thus logical that he should play for that club in the future. We wish Julian all the very best for his future career."
