Preparations in Stubaital

In preparing for their return to the Bundesliga, VfB will undertake two training camps this summer. A week after training begins (July 3^rd), Simon Terodde & Co. will set up quarters, as they did last year, in Grassau am Chiemsee, between July 10^th and 15^th.

During that stay, on Wednesday, July 12^th, VfB will play a test friendly against second-flight SG Dynamo Dresden at the Sportpark in Heimstetten (near Munich). Kick-off is at 18:00 CET and the match will be broadcast live in Germany on Sport1.

Two days after the season opening event (July 23^rd), Hannes Wolf and his men will then travel to their second pre-season training camp in preparing for their 2017/2018 Bundesliga campaign. From July 25^th until August 2^nd, the Cannstatt Boys will set up shop in Neustift in Stubaital (Tirol). Aside from all the training sessions, VfB will also play three test friendlies. On Wednesday, July 26^th, Wolf’s men face Turkish first division side Kasimpasa. Kick-off in Kufstein is at 18:00 CET. Three days later, on Saturday, July 29^th, VfB will play a further friendly – the opponent, location and kick-off time is yet to be clarified. In their third test friendly during the training camp in Stubaital, on August 1^st at 18:00 CET, VfB will take on Huddersfield Town in Schwaz.

VfB will play their final pre-season friendly on Sunday, August 6^th. Details will follow at a later point in time.
