All-time record appearance maker
Andreas beck didn’t just spend the bulk of his playing career on Mercedesstraße. In summer 2008, the defender moved to the Kraichgauer, with whom he made 216 Bundesliga appearances for TSG, making him Hoffenheim’s all-time record appearance maker in Germany’s top-flight.
White-Red youth
Hoffenheim‘s Ermin Bicakcic, Serge Gnabry and Adam Szalai all spent several years playing in VfB Stuttgart’s youth teams. Ermin Bicakcic made his Bundesliga debut in the shirt with the infamous red hoop in December 2010.
Reunions
Between the summer of 2015 and 2016, Lukas Rupp donned the VfB colours. In 29 league games, Rupp scored five goals, before moving on to Hoffenheim in 2016.
