One member of the 1. FSV Mainz 05 squad has tested positive for COVID-19 following the testing that took place on Tuesday before the planned friendly against VfB Stuttgart. All other tests came back negative.
The affected player has been isolated and is now in quarantine. Mainz and VfB have consequently agreed to cancel Wednesday’s friendly at the Bruchwegstadion in Mainz.
