Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann has named Alexander Nübel, Angelo Stiller and Jamie Leweling in his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Luxembourg in Sinsheim on 10 October and against Northern Ireland in Belfast on 13 October (both 20:45 kick-offs).
Furthermore, VfB defender Luca Jaquez has received his first call-up for the Swiss senior team. The Nati are also in World Cup qualifying action in Sweden on 10 October and in Slovenia on 13 October (both 20:45 kick-offs). “I’m delighted that I’ve been selected for the national team for the first time,” said Jaquez. “Now I’m hoping that I also get to make my debut for the Nati.”
