Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has selected VfB midfielder Angelo Stiller for the first time for the forthcoming Nations League ties against Hungary (7 September 2024) and the Netherlands (10.09.2024).
“I’m delighted to get the call-up for the national team. Every player wants to play for their country – it’s really special,” said Stiller. Nagelsmann has also called up four other VfB players – Maximilian Mittelstädt, Deniz Undav, Chris Führich and Alexander Nübel.
Fabian Rieder, Ermedin Demirovic and Enzo Millot also in action
Fabian Rieder is also set to be involved in the first two games of the new Nations League season after being called up by Switzerland. A Bosnia & Herzegovina side featuring Ermedin Demirovic start their campaign with two away games, while Enzo Millot is set to play two EURO 2025 qualifiers with France U21s.
