VfB internationals on duty

Bundesliga action will be on hold next weekend for another international break, with a number of VfB players heading off to represent their countries.

The Bundesliga is not the only league getting to the business end of the season, with crucial games also on the calendar for a number of countries. VfB striker Sasa Kalajdzic’s Austria for example are travelling to Wales for a European-zone World Cup qualifying play-off semi-final. Wataru Endo meanwhile will also be in action in a World Cup qualifier as Japan take on direct rivals Australia, before going on to play Vietnam. Finally, Omar Marmoush’s Egypt face Senegal home and away, in African-zone World Cup qualifying.
