Timo Baumgartl nominated

The VfB defender has been named in the preliminary German squad for the U21 European Championships in Poland. The tournament takes place from June 16th through 30th.

On Wednesday, Timo Baumgartl was named in the preliminary German U21 squad for the European Championship finals in Poland. "I am delighted about being nominated in the preliminary squad. I want to make use of my time with the national team to learn and hopefully recommend myself for a place in the definitive squad," commented Timo Baumgartl. The DFB youth-team will participate at the European Championship finals in Poland between June 16^th and 30^th, where their group opponents will be the Czech Republic, Denmark and Italy. During the training camp in Grassau, U21 head-coach Stefan Kuntz will announce his final 23-man squad on June 6^th. The preliminary squad consists of 25 players
