VfB used the Bundesliga break to maintain their match rhythm with a friendly against Würzburger Kickers on Thursday. Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side deservedly won 3-0 after dominating their second-tier opponents over the 90 minutes.
Nicolas Gonzalez opened the scoring in the 38th minute before a Daniel Didavi penalty (64’) and a Philipp Förster goal (78’) rounded off the 3-0 win in the second half.
