VfB Stuttgart, in close collaboration with the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, welcomed an international group of content creators from Mexico and Brazil to Stuttgart last weekend. An itinerary was organised around the match against Bayern Munich, combining football, creative content and Stuttgart culture.
Campaigns and initiatives such as these are a central component of the Bundesliga’s international activation efforts, with the clear goal of generating global attention for the league and its clubs, as well as attracting new fans in key international markets for German football.
Experiences in Stuttgart
The participants got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at VfB Stuttgart, met with VfB brand ambassador Cacau and were even put to the test on the ball themselves, with technical coach Nate Weiss leading a training session on the pitch. The programme also included a visit to the MHP Arena, complete with a behind-the-scenes tour. Furthermore, the guests visited the Mercedes-Benz Museum and the Stuttgart Spring Festival before heading to Munich together on Sunday for the match against Bayern.
