Tobias Keller has held several key roles during his seven-year stint with VfB Stuttgart. Starting out as an assistant to the executive board in October 2018, he was appointed divisional head of corporate strategy in February 2020 before serving as interim Chief Finance Officer between February and August 2021. Keller is also the CEO of Stadion NeckarPark GmbH and a director of VfB Reha-Welt.
VfB CEO Alexander Wehrle said: “In Tobias Keller, VfB are losing a financial expert and a reliable colleague and partner. He has experienced everything during his time here and was also an important influence in difficult times – a constant we could always rely on. On behalf of the entire VfB management team, I wish Tobias every success in his future endeavours.”
Tobias Keller on his departure: “It is with a heavy heart, but with pride and a great sense of gratitude, that I’m leaving VfB Stuttgart. After seven eventful years, I depart knowing that I’ve helped leave VfB in a stronger economic position, with one of the most modern stadiums in Europe in terms of infrastructure, and ideally equipped for the future in structural, personnel and sporting terms. I sincerely wish the VfB lads all the best for a successful future on and off the pitch.”
