Lutz Meschke has informed VfB Stuttgart’s boards that he will be stepping down from his role as member of the supervisory board of VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG, of which he is deputy chairman, at the end of 2025. Meschke has been part of the board since sports car brand Porsche – for whom he is a member of upper management – joined forces with VfB in 2023.
“Lutz Meschke played a significant role in Porsche AG coming on board and has helped to establish a long-term association between the global brand from Baden-Württemberg and VfB,” said Dietmar Allgaier, president and chairman of the supervisory board of VfB Stuttgart. “His work, strategic input and network have made a significant contribution to the recent positive development of the club, from which it is set to benefit for many years to come. We would like to thank Lutz for his genuine commitment to VfB Stuttgart.”
