The countless special moments that filled VfB Stuttgart’s path to 2025 DFB Cup glory will live long in the memories of everyone who was part of it. On Thursday, the club honoured this historic achievement by awarding the Gold Medal of Merit to everyone who helped fulfil the dream of winning the cup.

“It was very important to us as the club’s management team to once again express - by awarding the Gold Medal of Merit - how proud and grateful everyone at VfB Stuttgart is to all those who made the DFB Cup victory possible, both on and off the pitch,” said VfB President Dietmar Allgaier.
“This honour is also meant to underline the fact that success always comes as a result of the collective performance of a large team that works hard together every day and gives everything for our VfB.”
