Their focus, during what was a very intensive programme, was on observing the VfB first team’s training sessions. An unforgettable week also included numerous conversations with the team’s coaches, as well as those in the youth academy, in addition to speaking with VfB ambassador and club legend Cacau, who himself spent some time in Japan as a player. To round out an eventful week, the two visiting coaches watched VfB’s thrilling 5-2 win over RB Leipzig.
