U19s shine against Atalanta

Match summary:

VfB began the game on the front foot and stormed into a fully deserved 3-0 lead before the break courtesy of goals from Matthaios Tsigkas (9’), Eliot Bujupi (20’ pen) and Benjamin Boakye (42’). They also enjoyed a numerical advantage from the 36^th minute, when Atalanta goalkeeper Piotr Pardel received a red card.

The visitors reduced the deficit through Mattia Arrigoni in the 56^th minute before Eliot Bujupi made it 4-1 to VfB.

Goals:

9th minute: From a corner, Tsigkas nets the opening goal from close range.

20th minute: Bujupi confidently converts a penalty to make it 2-0.

42nd minute: Boakye finishes off a wonderful individual move from 16 metres and it’s 3-0.

56th minute: Atalanta get a goal back from a corner through Arrigoni. 

74th minute: Efe Korkut sets up Bujupi for the final goal.
