Premium partner Kärcher and VfB certainly got the ball rolling for around 100 football-crazy children in Singapore over the past few days. Just like last year, former VfB player Silvio Meissner came along to help out the coaches from the VfB Football School with their four-day red and white football camp, that once again proved to be a real success. "It’s great to see how much passion and commitment the kids put into every session here," said Meissner, who made 163 appearances for the club. "That’s exactly the way it should be."
Visit to OFC ‘1. VfB Stuttgart Fanclub Asia’
During their trip, Meissner and co. also paid a visit to the local OFC ‘1. VfB Stuttgart Fanclub Asia’ and spent a wonderful anecdote-filled evening with the members, who are primarily made up of ex-pats from Stuttgart and the surrounding area. “We’re delighted that VfB has done the same as last year and come to Singapore once again, and we hope that in the future there will be plenty more football camps and other activities held here,” said fan club president Hartmut Dongus.
