Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to the domain vfb.de, which is operated by VfB Stuttgart AG (‘VfB’ or ‘VfB Stuttgart’), insofar as the goods and services offered at vfb.de fall under the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) and the associated Accessibility Enhancement Act Ordinance (BFSGV). VfB Stuttgart endeavours to make its website accessible, enabling people with disabilities to access relevant products and services in accordance with the requirements of the BFSG and the BFSGV.

1. Description of the service

The vfb.de website offers, among other things, the opportunity to purchase tickets for matches of various VfB teams and other VfB events, as well as access to the online shop where merchandising items can be purchased.

These services usually require the conclusion of a contract with consumers. The subpages of our aforementioned website, set up for the corresponding contracts and associated services (including consumer information on terms and conditions, cancellation rights, and data protection information, as well as detailed information pages on merchandising items and tickets), should be accessible in accordance with the BFSG and the BFSGV.

Accordingly, the accessibility requirements are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) at conformity level AA, to which the BFSG and BFSGV refer.

2. Status of compliance with accessibility requirements

The vfb.de website is partially compliant with the requirements of the BFSG and BFSGV. We continually work to further improve digital accessibility. The aim is to meet the following WCAG 2.2 requirements:

  • Perceptibility
  • Operability
  • Comprehensibility
  • Robustness

We assess the extent to which these requirements are met through self-assessment, in conjunction with user feedback.

3. Non-accessible content

Despite our efforts, some content cannot be displayed in a fully accessible manner at this time. This includes, among other things:

  • Videos without subtitles or audio description
  • PDF documents that are not accessible or are only accessible to a limited extent
  • Graphics and infographics without sufficient text alternatives
  • Partially inadequate keyboard operability of interactive elements
  • Lack of contrast in individual areas
