Born on 2 April 1966 in Hilden, Lutz Meschke spent many years playing football for FC Britannia 08 in his home town of Solingen.
After completing his studies in business administration at the University of Cologne, Meschke went on to work for the auditing firm KPMG and Hugo Boss AG before joining Porsche AG in 2001. He was appointed executive board member for finance and IT at the sports car manufacturer in 2009. He has also served as deputy chairman of the executive board since 2015.
In 2020, Meschke was named the management board member responsible for investment management at Porsche Automobil Holding SE.
A passionate skier and tennis player, Meschke lives with his family in Stuttgart.
